Stop 1
Fontainebleau

Stop 2
Garden and Park of Fontainebleau

Do not miss the Carp Pool, with a pavilion where meals were served, the jardin de Diane, a garden with an elegant fountain representing the huntress with four bronze dogs, the grotte du jardin des Pins, with its monstrous atlantes and the superb English-style garden. Stop 3
Fontainebleau Forest

   Drive through the ancient forest of Bière has always been a magnificent hunting ground, particularly on horseback. Barbizon

   Enjoy a last stop in Barbizon, which was a small hamlet until it became the scene of the modern painting revolution in the 19th C. Painters such as Rousseau and Millet, founders of the Barbizon school, found inspiration here. The village has kept its charming appeal with its houses made of stone and ivy, the gardens full of roses and it definitely remains the “village of Painters”.
