Musée du Luxembourg
This exhibit immerses visitors in the intimate experience that Marc Chagall had of war and peace, and the interpretation he made of them through his art. In total, nearly eighty paintings, drawings and engravings, including several never shown in public, put in parallel his work with the ordeals of his life. Indeed, Chagall experienced two wars and a Revolution and was exiled twice, but also experienced hope and joy during peace.
